The Odisha Chamber of Commerce  (OCC) was established  to represent and promote the interests of the business community in the state of Odisha, India. It acts as a platform for businesses, industries, and trade associations to come together, voice concerns, and advocate for economic growth and development in the region.

The founding of the OCC was driven by the need for a unified body that could represent the business community in Odisha, especially during the post-independence period when the state was looking to modernize and strengthen its industrial and commercial sectors. Over the years, the OCC has played a significant role in shaping policies, improving the business environment, and promoting trade and investment in the state.

The chamber also works to foster better relationships between the government, industry, and other stakeholders, with the aim of facilitating sustainable economic development and job creation in Odisha. It continues to be a key player in shaping the state’s economic landscape
